About The Gala

Winklebury Gala from 2018 to present...

The Winklebury Gala began as a group of neighbours getting together on a small green and slowly grew into the annual family fun event it is now. 
Over the years we have raised money for a new accessible swing, a washing machine for the local nursery and a bench for an elderly residential home. We have also made donations towards the Winklebury Youth Project, Hazie Days, the Winklebury Legends Community Fund and helped many residents with crisis grants.
​We have lost many members along the way for various reasons, but we have always kept our focus on what is most important... community.


Location

Summer events are held at the Winklebury Playing Fields, Winklebury Basingstoke
Winter events and Rummage Sales are held at the Sycamore Halls Community Centre, Winklebury Basingstoke
